Meet Your Instructor

Jessica Jaeger

Registered Dietitian, Jaeger Nutrition Founder

Jessica was born and raised in Long Island, NY. She received her B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University and her M.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics with a concentration in exercise physiology from Long Island University. Jessica is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in eating disorders, intuitive eating, and sports nutrition. She has worked at inpatient and outpatient eating disorder treatment centers, on college campuses as a dietitian and adjunct professor, and in private practice. Jessica is currently an adjunct professor at Hofstra University. She offers individual eating disorder nutrition therapy, intuitive eating coaching and a variety of workshops. Jessica and her team of colleagues published a peer-reviewed piece entitled "Dealing with Disordered Thoughts and Behaviors in Youth," in the academic journal Nutrition Today. This piece inspired "Creating a Food and Body Neutral Home" and serves as a resource for physicians, Registered Nurses, Registered Dietitians, and psychotherapists navigating disordered eating screening and treatment. In her free time, Jessica enjoys cooking and baking, yoga, reading, spending time outdoors and on the water, and spoiling her two rescue dogs, Penny and Duke.
